I am Peter Oberc and I'm a photographer based in Westchester County, NY. I specialize in Weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. I began my business about 15 years ago and soon developed it into one of the most successful photography studios in Westchester County. My recipe for success is simple. Create the most beautiful images possible and provide my clients with the highest quality of customer service out there. This formula has worked for me and has always paid me back with interest. There is, however, one more component I need to mention that is the nucleus from which all of my success germinates. It is this: I love what I do and I do what I love. It's as simple as that. I just love being a photographer. I love working with people and capturing the beauty of their special day. There is nothing else I'd rather be doing. How many people can truly say they love their jobs? I can. I couldn't live any other way.
Last weekend I shot Alexandra and Justin’s Wedding. They were a wonderful couple and they had a great wedding. It always is a pleasure to work with such nice people. Please check out the images and don’t forget to play the slideshow.
Last Wednesday I participated in the Tasting over at the CV Rich Mansion in White Plains, NY. There was a great turnout. I met many new brides and grooms as well as several Mitzvah clients. I’ve had the privilege of being part of this great event now for over 8 years. The food as always was phenomenal! The entire staff at the CV Rich Mansion and at Caperberry Events is like a part of my family. I have known them–Peter and Karen Herrero, David Pellon and Joanna Malone for at least 15 years. These are truly the best people in the business.
Brendan O’Keefe of BOK music was there playing piano and later was the DJ.
Brendan and I are the longest running vendor participants at this event. The Arcadia Floral Company did the floral arrangements and did an outstanding job.

Last weekend I shot Camilla and Charlie’s Wedding over at the Indian Harbor Yacht Club in Greenwich CT. They were a wonderful couple and they had a great wedding.

Here are some images from a recent Bat Mitzvah I shot at the Beach Point Club. Beach Point is a wonderful club located on the water off of Mamaroneck harbor.
ESP Production did both the entertainment and the decor!
David Milowitz who is one of the owners of ESP and his crew did an outstanding job. I love working with these guys! They run a great party.

Because the Mitzvahs center on kids I put only the overview images on the blog. The clients obviously see all of the portraits and close ups etc…

I recently sot Rachel and Mark’s Wedding. This wonderful wedding that took place at Stage 6 at Steiner Studios in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. I really enjoyed this wedding because of the people and the location.
